| Ahli aim to banish memories of Masri defeat
Ahli, Contractors meet in Egyptian League Ahli will be looking to shrug off the memories of their 2-0 defeat to Masri when they visit Arab Contractors in the Egyptian League on Saturday.
The Red Devils' last league game before the international break ended in a stunning loss to the in-form Masri.
Ahli eye a convincing win over Arab Contractors to demonstrate that they are still the team to beat in Egypt's premier competition.
Portuguese coach Manuel Jose doesn't have injury worries ahead of the game.
Although star playmaker Mohamed Abou-Treika limped off Egypt's stunning 4-0 friendly defeat to Sudan, he should be fit to take part in the match.
Angolan duo Gilberto and Flavio Amado are also available after returning from international duty.
But Ahli, who have three points from two games, will miss regular duo Hossam Ashour and Wael Gomaa.
Combative defender Gomaa was sent off against Masri while defensive midfielder Ashour collected his third booking this season.
Mohamed Samir is expected to deputize for Gomaa while Moataz Eno is likely to fill in for Ashour, who established himself as a key player for the Cairo giants.
Arab Contractors will be looking to avoid a defeat against five-time African champions Ahli.
"We are holding special preparations for this crucial match," the club's football supervisor Sherif Habib told FilGoal.com.
"It has a special significance because we want to make up for our defeat against Olympic."
Contractors kicked off their league campaign with a convincing 2-0 victory over Al-Gaish.
However, they slumped to a 2-0 away defeat to Alexandria-based club Olympic few days later.
Contractors' squad boasts three former Ahli players – Reda Al-Weeshi, Abdul-Ellah Galal and Rami Rabie.
Al-Weeshi is expected to partner Rabie upfront against Ahli.

| i hope Jose can pull his mind out of his ass and use the new players he signed like Ahmed Hassan (Drogba) n El 3geizy and give more minutes for Hussien Yasser.
i'd like 2 see Ahly change the 3-5-2 tactics using the 3 DMs we should use just 2 Dms to give space 4 more creativity.
.................. Amir .................... ................ Shady .................. ..... M.Samir ........ A.El Sayed ... ...... A.Hassan .... H.Ashoor ...... Barakat ...................... Gilberto ............... Abou Trika ............. ......... Flavio ........ Drogba .......
This formation n startin line-up will be so good

| I never expected things to get this worse where we had to play over 40 mintes 11 against 9 and we can't even score with About Trika , Barakat , Gilberto , Ahmed Hassa, Drogba and Eino what else do we need , how easier can it get.
This aint the strat of a season that we expected and i think it's the worse in the last 5 years we just collected 4 points in 3 games.

| we had a decent game 2day in the second half. we totally dominated only the goal keeper wasnt in the other half.
we had bad luck today lots of balls just went by the goal in the same way.
it doesnt matter cause we know that at the end there is only one cahmp in egypt......

it doesnt matter cause we know that at the end there is only one cahmp in egypt...... dont u want us 2 dominate playin 11 vs 9 if we didnt then we dont deserve 2 play football our 2nd half was a disaster not a decent one , how come 4 or 5 players in the box for 45 minutes cant make a single finish , how come we keep on playin same trick for 45 minutes tryin 2 score from a cross while our midfielders had chances to make shots but didnt even try 2.

| i see ramy adel substitution as useless, putting a right back to be more attacking was better. he had awful crosses. our 2nd half perfomance was nice except for the last touch.
even if we were 11 and they were 15 we will dominate, we are egypt....AHLY!!!!! u know

Ramy Adel's substitute came due 2 fatigue problems for Shady , he played in Sudan 3 days ago with the NT n Jose needs him ready for Dinamoz clash , it's much important than the Mokawloon match. as u said anyway we will the league at the end so now we have 2 focus on the CAF CL.

| Arabcontractors played an extraordinary game with only 9 players .I think the referee was not very lucky in alot of his decisions . I reckon that absence of emad motab will have a partcial empact on ahly performance . | |
