The Casillas-Reina duo chasing down the 619-minute scoreless streak set by Zubizarreta and Buyo.

Not since conceding a goal to Greece in the group stage of Euro 2008 has the tandem of Iker Casillas and Pepe Reina allowed an opponent to score. The record of 619 minutes without conceding a goal is now just 74 minutes away and can be broken on 11 November when Spain play Estonia in Tallinn.
Spain conceded three goals in their Euro 2008 title run; one in each of their three group stage matches. Iker Casillas got the start in the first two, and Pepe Reina took over against Greece in what was the last time any opponent scored on the Reds. The ensuing quarterfinal match against Italy ended 0-0 after injury time, the semifinal versus Russia was a 3-0 blowout, and Spain maintained a clean sheet against Germany in the final.

The Reds have played three matches since, the first which ended 3-0 against Denmark, the second 1-0 against Bosnia, and the last 4-0 versus Armenia.

The international duo is now within striking range of the Buyo-Zubizarreta tandem, which notched 692 scoreless minutes between March 1992 and January 1993.

The record can be broken on 11 October when Spain play Estonia in Tallinn. Casillas and/or Reina must keep a clean sheet for 74 minutes to rewrite the history books, and four days later can extend the streak when Del Bosque's men take on Belgium.

great achievment but i think it's more for Casillas than 2 Reina
Reina hardly take the chance 2 play in the NT due 2 Casillas' presence
