So far we are having Ivan Cordoba , Walter Samuel , Christian Chivu , Adriano , Patrick Vieira , Materazzi and Julio Cruz all injured

Cordoba , Chivu , Samuel and Cruz are back to Training with the full team but still needs some time to be ready for matches and it's expected that most of them are goin to be available for the start of the season especially Chivu.

Mourinho lately hinted that Materazzi will be available for Sampdoria's match next week.

Julio Cruz has recovered from the injury he picked against Bari and 2day he took a place on the inter bench which means he will definatly be ready 4 the start of season against Sampdoria.

after seeing the light with our center backs gettin ready to be back in action like Materazzi , Chivu , Cordoba and Samuel seems like we will never be injury free in that department.
Burdisso has picked an injury during the super coppa match against Roma and will be out for 45 days.

Burdisso has been very impressive in the pre season n Inter's defence with his lead only accepted 1 goal in the whole pre season and he had a very good game against Roma to b4 bein injured and substituted by Rivas.

Inter's defensive crisis has taken a new twist as defender Nicolas Burdisso could be sidelined for a considerable period.

The Beneamata were hit by injuries to Cristian Chivu, Marco Materazzi, Walter Samuel and Ivan Cordoba in pre-season.

And just as the stars started to return to Jose Mourinho's ranks, they have been rocked by the news that Burdisso, who has been one of the surprise stars of Inter's pre-season, has a calf problem.

Burdisso was linked with a move to Fiorentina at the start of the summer, but Mourinho chose to keep hold of the 27-year-old.

However, the Argentine ace suffered a calf strain during Inter's Super Cup win over Roma last Sunday and there are fears that the damage could take a while to heal.

As the injury is in a fragile area of the leg, Burdisso may need around 45 days of rest for the problem to heal fully and looks almost certain to miss the start of the new season.

Yeah too many Injuries in Inter's defence but Materazzi will be back in the next week I think.

Inter's Stankovic relief

Inter are breathing a sigh of relief as the injury to Serbian midfielder Dejan Stankovic isn't too serious.

The No 5 picked up a knock in a collision with French ace Thierry Henry during last night's World Cup 2010 qualifier.

There were fears that Stankovic may have suffered serious internal damage to his knee, which would rule him out for several months, but the news is good.

Tests supervised by Nerazzurri doctor Franco Combi have ruled out any long-term problems for Stankovic, who is celebrating his 30th birthday today.

The injury is only a first-degree strain and should heal itself shortly, allowing Jose Mourinho to breathe easy.

French international Patrick Vieira is set to return to the starting line-up for Inter's game against Catania with Sulley Muntari and Esteban Cambiasso making up a three-man midfield.
