Toffees Unwrap Surprise Saha Signing

Everton have agreed to sign striker Louis Saha from Manchester United, subject to a medical.

Everton announced on their official club website this morning that French striker Louis Saha is set to sign a two-year contract at Goodison Park for an undisclosed fee.

The move will be completed subject to a medical, with the deal including an option for a third year.

Saha has also played for Newcastle United and Fulham in England and Metz in France.

He has scored 42 goals in 124 appearances for United, though his time at Old Trafford has been blighted by injuries.

He also scored 53 times in 117 appearances for Fulham, and has earned 18 French caps, scoring four goals for Les Bleus and appearing in the World Cup in 2006.

Signings are suddenly like London buses at Goodison - you wait all summer for one then three come along at once, manager David Moyes having brought in Saha, Lars Christian Jacobsen and Segundo Castillo this week.

This move is definatly in Saha's favor
he was goin 2 have no playin time in Man u this season with Rooney n Tevez n even rumors about Berbatov's arrival.

Good move by Man Utd getting rid of him.

This is better for him he is a good player but in the last period his injuries made for him a problem. Now after signing berbatov he won't play even if he's not injured. " he was going to watch the matches with the crowed if he stayed " WISH HIM LUCK but not against MAN UTD

well his injuries werent Man utd's problem 4 sure n they were more than patient with him but now with Berba,Tevez n Rooney not 2 mention the wingers , there is no place 4 him.

a good move for saha, he is a good player but had bad luck with injuries.
but after berba's arrival there is no place for him.
