no i didn't start watching football in 07 i started yesterday and i think its a gr8 sport i wanna watch it how do u win again?? again i dont deny gerrad as agreat player he is on of the greatest i know but he is NOT a legend and the greatest player that ever lived he is NOT englands no. 1 player, he is NOT the best player in liverpool at least not better than ferrnando torres or do u beg to differ and carrin a team to win a trophy like the champions league is gr8 i loved it i was cheering for liverpool the whole game but i mean remember what nihat did in the cezck game but does that make him a legend ? i mean becken power led germany to win the wc with a broken elbow thats what i call a legend and besides u need to learn to discuss just throwing words and critisising doesn't prove ur point i mean all what u did in this topic is copy and paste some info and said stuff like"PLZ DONT COMMENT HERE EVER AGAIN" and "BECAUSE YOU HAVE JUST PROVED TO ME THAT YOU ARE STUPID" and "I GUESS U DONT KNOW THAT BECAUSE U STARTED WATCHING FOOTBALL MATCHES AT 2007 OR SOMETHING. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" i mean grow up man

with all due respect ma friends but this doesnt prove how much a great player is by bein the captain of his NT Neither Totti nor Del Piero are Italian captains not cause they r not legends cause definatly they r n no need for Arguemnts here on this one , instead Cannavaro is.
u dunno the reason but maybe not 2 start a fyt between the players over the captaincy that's why u give it 2 someone else.
Raul , aint he a legend ??? he wasnt even on the spanish NT in the Euros after havin a great season last year n bein a legend just didnt make him on the NT not captain. |

well ur right about that about i have an opinion on this matter and argue with me if u think otherwise i think raul wasn't pick because he is a simbol of real madrid and alot of teams/players/ fans in spain hate real madrid what argones wanted is to have unity in the team he depended greatly on valencia team a (neatural team that doesn't have much eneamies or rivals) and a couple of players not playing in the la liga like torres and cesc bec. it has been a problem in the past in the unity of the team spain has one of the strongest squad in world but there is too much feud and hate between teamates so elminating raul was meant its not bec. he doesnt desearve to be in the first team but in the end it cost aragones his job but got the job done

well saftawy maybe i dunno cause i aint a great follower of the Spanish NT but what i know is that Arragonis had the perfect answer for all his critics who criticized him 4 not pickin Raul n not havin Cesc as a starter n Marchena over Albiol and he simply won it all at the end and this is what matters more.

out for 2 weeks The Reds left it until the death last night as they claimed a 1-0 victory in their third-round tie against Standard Liege, Dirk Kuyt bundling home the winner deep in extra time. But the euphoria of sneaking through to the Champions League group stages will now give way to anxiety as the Merseyside club face up to Gerrard's enforced absence. The Huyton-born superstar is scheduled to undergo surgery on his troublesome groin today and will be out of action for the next fortnight. As such, the 28-year-old is certain to miss England's upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Croatia. He may also be forced to sit out Liverpool's September 13 clash against Manchester United. The news comes as a huge blow to Reds boss Rafael Benitez, who had only just welcomed Olympic duo Javier Mascherano and Lucas Leiva back into his midfield. "I am disappointed for Steven. We knew he had a problem when he joined up with England for their last match. But he said he would play through the pain tonight," the Spaniard told the press. "It is only a minor operation but we are looking at 10 to 15 days out." goal.com
