Maradona brings Aguero to Inter? Saturday 20 September, 2008

As Massimo Moratti confirms Diego Maradona will work for Inter, there are reports he’ll bring son-in-law Sergio Aguero to San Siro.
“The whole idea of this collaboration came out of a chat with a journalist over the last few days,” revealed Moratti.
“I certainly couldn’t say no to Maradona! We’ll have to evaluate the technical details of this collaboration that will above all involve South America.”
The Pibe de Oro is set to work for the side as a talent scout in Argentina, but that is not his only focus.
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Maradona will try to convince Atletico Madrid hero Aguero to make the move to Inter.
It would be a family affair, as Maradona’s daughter Giannina is expecting a baby from Aguero in February.
“I have already told Diego if it is a boy, then I’ll sign him up immediately,” laughed agent Salvatore Bagni.
“With those genes from the father and grandfather…”
Inter had already made a £20m bid plus Dejan Stankovic for Aguero in the summer, but Atletico Madrid have a contract until 2012 with a £45m buy-out clause.
“There was immediately a great rapport between Moratti and Diego. The first impression was excellent and I can’t help but be pleased with the Inter President’s comments.
“Now Diego is in Buenos Aires and should return to Italy in November, but if he is needed then he could be on the next flight.”
