| Ittihad Jeddah Seek More EgyptiansIttihad Jeddah, who recently signed Emad Moteb, have entered into serious negotiations with Al-Ahly duo Mohamed Abou Trika and Hassan Mostafa, according to reports... Al-Watan reports that the successful Moteb deal has encouraged Ittihad Jeddah to bid for Egyptian golden boy Mohamed Abou Trika. The newspaper claims that Mansour Al-Balawy, a member of the board, has contacted Abou Trika and offered him 5 million Euros for a season-long loan deal. The offer exceeds all other offers from the likes of Ahly Dubai and Al Ain. Furthermore, Abou Trika has been apparently refusing offers from European and Gulf clubs, saying that he only has eyes for Al-Ahly. However, the star began to think more seriously about leaving after Al-Ahly signed more than one prominent player recently, such as ex-Anderlecht captain Ahmed Hassan and Hussien Yasser, formerly of Boavista. Abou Trika has now agreed terms with Ittihad Jeddah and is set to move in the winter transfer window. Meanwhile, Al-Balawi have reportedly made an offer for Al-Ahly's Hassan Mostafa, a defensive midfielder. Moteb is said to have failed to convince him to join Ittihad after phoning him from Saudi Arabia. Mostafa hasn’t imposed himself upon Al-Ahly’s first team since his loan with Al-Wehda ended. This has prompted Mostafa to consider leaving the team, having been tipped to join Al-Ahly or fierce rivals Al-Zamalek. Sources now suggest that Mostafa has verbally committed himself to Ittihad offer, especially after Abou Trika did likewise. |

| Ekrami Off To AnkaragucuEgyptian international Sherif Ekrami has completed a season-long loan deal to Turkish club Ankaragucu from Dutch side Feyenoord. The goalkeeper confirmed to Filgoal.com on Wednesday that he could be heading to the Turkish club side on a permanent deal from Feyenoord, provided they can churn out €1million. "There is an option that allows Ankaragucu to sign me on a permanent basis following the season's end, if they pay Feyenoord €1million," Ekrami told Filgoal.com. "I penned a one-year contract extension with Feyenoord to convince them accept Ankaragucu's loan proposal." Ekrami however refused to reveal the amount that Ankaragucu paid for his services this season. The 25-year-old goalkeeper has not been a regular starter for the Dutch side, and had earlier threatened to leave the club if they failed to establish him in the starting line up. Ekrami is hoping to return to the Pharaohs of Egypt, having made his last appearance in 2007 for the national side. |
